Klass Struggle at the Old Mutual Theatre on the Square
From Sea Point to Sandton, Daphne Kuhn presents the stand-up-comedy Klass Struggle with Tracy Klass, directed by Riaad Moosa. Klass Struggle directed by Riaad Moosa and originally produced by Stuart Taylor, opens at the Old Mutual Theatre on the Square on the 14th February for two weeks only.
As one of the original Cape Comedy Collective comics Tracy Klass is probably the last one to stage a solo show. Riaad Moosa, Stuart Taylor, Kurt Schoonraad, Nik Rabinowitz, Kagiso Lediga, Loyiso Gola and a host of other well known South African comics went through the doors of the Cape Comedy Collective. Whilst the others were busy developing their careers, Tracy – a single Jewish mother of three - was busy bringing up her family. Klass Struggle is her story – a side-splitting balancing act.
Topics which come under attack include technology, spoilt children and the demands of motherhood. The show appeals to a wide variety of ages, from the youngsters who are glad that Tracy is not their mother, to parents and grandparents who have been through it all. Join Tracy in this laugh-a-minute comedy.
