Lucky rescued by Sandton SPCA
'Lucky' was found wandering the streets of Malvern yesterday, January 24, 2012 when a concerned resident called Sandton SPCA to rescue him.
He was badly neglected and obviously never been groomed, he was in a terrible state when they found him.
The staff got stuck into his mound of clotted, clumped, severely matted dreadlocked fur.
After an hour of cutting and shaving, a sweet natured cross Maltese male emerged from 2kg's of mess.
'Lucky' was checked by their Vet and she has given the thumbs up that he is in good health and ready for adoption. He is approximately 12 years old and still has a lot of love to give and living to do.
If you are interested in adopting Lucky and giving him the love and care he deserves, please contact the Sandton SPCA at 011 444 7730/1 or e-mail: info@sandtonspca.org.za
