Teenager escapes life of prostitution

Eyewitness News reports a Johannesburg teenager who escaped a life of forced prostitution on the streets of Cape Town has blown the lid on an alleged human trafficking ring operating in South Africa.

The 16-year-old girl was abducted in Bramley in mid-October 2011.
After staging a dramatic escape from her captors, she was reunited with her parents two months later.

The teenager described in detail how she was abducted by four men and forced to drink a concoction that put her to sleep.
