The kind of Joburg we need to promote
A couple of weeks ago my son and I had a coffee outside at the Peri Deli in Rivonia, it was about midday. At about 4.30 I realised my jacket was missing and remembered hanging it on the back of the chair outside...I called the Peri Deli enquiring re the jacket and was told no, it was not there. I remebered the Mugg & Bean was next door..I called them Meggie (bless her heart) said she would go from the office upstairs and look, would I phone back....when I did she had my jacket and the heirloom brooch was still on it. Thank you Meggie for your trouble and thanks to all the honest people who did not remove the jacket. We were right next to the street! That's the kind of Joburg we need to promote.
