Blayze is back with Mzansi Bravestars

We all have experiences in life that either make or break us. It is commonly said how we handle them defines our future.

After a near fatal car crash, “Blayze”-Dylan King, got straight back into the studio to show people he wasn’t finished with music just yet! Whilst producing the music for his latest single “Bravestars” he decided to bring in three other artists on the track; “J-Namic”- Jeremy Cohen, “HydroFameBoy”- Nwabi Ntaka and Bongo Riot from Gangs of Instrumentals.

Blayze says; “Bravestars is a very personal track. It was the first track I produced once I was able to start working again. I wrote my verse the very same day I made the track, I then got back to Jozi and called up J-Namic to drop a verse on the song, and then called up Hydro to come through and put his verse down. In terms of the hook we wanted a fresh sound to break away from the rap verses that already were on the song. I was then directed to Bongo Riot who came through and he just gave the song an entire different feel”

“Bravestars” speaks of the experiences that made these artists stronger and expresses what they had to do to get where they are today. J-Namic speaks of growing up in the entertainment industry and the highs and lows of all that comes with it.

Hydro speaks of his experiences in being incarcerated and the hardships he faced growing up and Bongo Riot provides the hook for the song expressing how being brave in your circumstances brings the star out in you.

Blayze now owns his own record label, ‘Blayze Entertainment’ after leaving the comfort of the corporate world to pursue his passion, J-Namic runs several successful businesses including a property business, as well as being a recording artist and Hydro FameBoy has just recently been signed a lucrative record deal with Kenny Kunene’s record label “Nu-Money”. Bongo Riot is also a successful artist with Gangs of Instrumentals.

This is Blayze’s follow up single to “We get it poppin” featuring J-Namic and Marie-Chan from all girl group Jamali.
