Youth Day shows a dearth of good role models in SA
When hate-speech, rascism and threats of violence, together with over corrupt dealing with public contracts become the order of the day, we have to realise that the Youth are being presented with role models who are completely unworthy of the office/s granted to them. It's high time that the Youth of South Africa had role models who promoted values of supporting the poor, embracing the rainbow nation and promoting tolerance, hard work, equality and free speech. There are good people out there and we need to support them. We should be promoting those who are delivering and who are good role models in our country rather than letting thugs dominate the headlines. There is a bias in print media in particular to support anyone who appears to come from a previously disadvantaged community no matter what degree of thuggery they resort to. No, Mr. Malema, the police are not your personal army and your league is a disgrace to the Youth of South Africa!
